My son's Galaxy S7 Edge can't be charged via USB anymore due to a defect.
The only way for him to charge it is by wireless/contactless charging

This makes charging tedious, especially when he's on the road: He has to carry not only the phone and the power bank, but also the charger with him..

I bought one oft these super-cheap Chinese Qi charging pads [on AliExpress](https://bit.ly/2CUXp6s), gutted it and printed a case where I glued in the electronics. You can see the original charger
