Top mounted spool holder for Anet A8 (with optional filament sensor swivel arm)

This spool holder for the Anet A8 printer is space saving and allows for easy placement and removal of a spool. The design uses bearings to reduce rolling resistance.

A filament runout sensor can be added. It is mounted on a 3 DOF (2x rotation and 1x translation) swivel arm, which recuces mechanical strain on the sensor and extruder during printing. When not in use, it can be rotated 180° for storage.
