My first 3d model.
I needed a new clip for my Giro Encore 2 helmet.
The geometry is spline-based, written with SolidPyhton, producing an openScad file. So the scad file is a bit complex, but you can easily change the text inside or adjust the holes.
A few comments:
- I first tried to print with a simple skirt, but the piece moved when print was at approximately half-way up. Then I used a brim, which printed fine but left some residues. No support needed.
- A stencil font was used for
