This is my shim for a shim, a shim shim no less!
The Pimironi On/Off shim is a great bit of cheap kit to add to a raspberry pi. It basically adds an Off On switch to your Pi so that you can turn it off without having to issue a shutdown command. Just yanking the power on a Pi will always eventually cause corruption of the SD card, typically the networking files go and you have to manually edit them to get it back.
The shim normally sits on top of the header pins, but you can get it a bit
