The update has a motor mount shelf and screw holes in the base to secure a tapped vertical aluminum bar.

This is the top corner bracket that I made for a delta 3d printer.
The vertical beam is a 2040 aluminum extrusion and the horizontals are 2040 aluminum extrusion.
I have included the FreeCad 0.17 file so that anyone can make changes/modifications.

Update 1/2/2019 - Added AutoCAD Fusion 360 file with the design as well
