Caps for glass holding desert sand

After collecting sand from 3 of the deserts in Namibia, we used
three identical glas jars (from empty Nutella chocolate spread jars) to hold them. The designs fit on top of the class jars and are separated from the sand by a circular piece of transparent acetate, glued to the inside.

The scenes depicted are there to remind us of the sands origin (e.g. we did a horse riding trip in the Namib desert, and were blown away by the dead trees in Sossusvlei).
