My remix features a clamp on the base, the Hoonigan handle ( though you could use your own if you like) , and two different adapters to to make the joint between the base and the handle attach with 8mm bar. The part labeled "Bar Adapter Wedged" should in theory give the handbrake more throw/pull to engage. The idea of the "axle cover" is to glue over the hole for the pivot point/axle of the handbrake. The axle should also be made of another piece of 8mm bar.
