This structure is the huntingtin protein, the protein that is the cause of Huntington's disease when mutated in families with a CAG DNA triplet repeat expansion.
This structure was generated from purified huntingtin and HAP40 protein, which was published in Nature in 2018 from Stefan Kochanek's group in Ulm, Germany.
