Aluminum Flag Pole Additions

In getting ready for Veteran's Day, I got a state flag and a aluminum pole for my daughter's school. The only stands they had were for the traditional 1.25" Oak Flag Poles, but the aluminum pole was a smaller, 1" pole.

So, I created 2 different pieces for this aluminum pole. First, was a buttcap for the bottom end of the pole. I attached it with super glue and sanded to a smooth fit. This will do a couple of things. It will help keep debris out of the bottom of the aluminum pole, as well
