I have a E3D V6 Clone hot end on my A8, and wanted to use a 40mm fan to cool the heat sink. I also wanted to re-purpose the stock 30mm fan as a parts cooler since I'm printing PETG and don't need a ton of cooling, and wanted to keep the hot end assembly as compact as possible. This is what I came up with. It has been working great for me so far printing PETG. I have not tried printing PLA with it, so can't say if the parts cooling is adequate or not. If you try it let me know! :) I printed this
