Modular filament roll dryer (dehumidifier) using only a 50mmx15mm fan and silica gel cat litter

This is a filament dryer that uses silica gel and a small fan to dry filament.

The design is modular. You print a "Roll Dryer - Housing Segment" for every roll you want to fit in.

You fill the base with dry silica gel and the centrifugal fan creates a central high pressure zone in the middle of the channel spiral. Return vents line the outer wall. The center of the filament roll spools become the return intake duct and a flow of air is created, filtering through the desiccant.
