Case for the M12864 component tester, doesn't cover SMD pads, covers signal generator pads and the other 3 holes for testing.
Includes back plate to hold 3x 18650 batteries, providing 12V to turn it on.
It does run on 3 cells without problem, but it will also run on 2 cells. The lowest I've tested is 6 volts and it will say the battery is weak, but that's already a pretty low voltage for the lithium battery. If you use 3 cells remember to recharge them when they drop below 9V.
