Standard 15mm rail clamps typically fit below the camera. This is a version which clamps onto the lens directly instead. It required 2 bolts and nuts and the drilling of the requisite holes for them.
The advantage of this is - the focus motor is physically unified with the lens, and this greatly reduces if not completely eliminates both backlash and the nudging of the lens when changing focus direction on the focus motor.
