Soviet computers of the 1980s have always seemed very exotic for us who grew up in the West, and industrial design like this LEMZ Agat-4 is the reason why - turns out one of the tenets of Socialism is "no beige bricks!". A truly cool little piece of an era.
The Agat-4 was a 6502 powered machine from 1983, similar to the Apple II in spec, but played the same role in Soviet schools as the BBC Model B did in the UK - read about it here: https://ipfs.io/ipfs/QmXoypizjW3WknFiJnKLwHCnL72vedxjQkDDP1
