Zentradi Rifle for Matchbox 3 3/4" action figures

I bought a couple of 80s vintage Robotech Zentradi action figures made by Matchbox. They're 10cm tall, which puts them right at about 1:100 scale, so I can mix them with various 1:100 scale Macross toys.

The loose figures I got did not come with their weapons, and looking at the boxed versions, didn't come with anything close to matching what they carried in the cartoon. Note, these are the "micronized" Zentradi (regular sized would be too big and out of scale). This doesn't explain why th
