Ecobee 3 Lite Electrical Box Mount

This plate is for attaching an Ecobee 3 Lite to a vertically oriented electrical box wall opening.

Since the separation between the holes in the Ecobee-supplied wall plate and "backplate" are closer than those in a standard electrical box, I needed some kind of adapter plate.

This is a problem others have solved, but other designs include four holes, and that don't allow enough room for the electrical box mounting screw heads to clear the rear contours of the wall trim plate that came with
