Did the MicroSwiss All metal hotend upgrade, and found that the only optimal configuration of tube+nozzle height would leave my extruder cooling fan too low (using the stock mount) so I chose to design an adapter that raises the stock fan duct for the Maker Select V2, just a few millimeters in order to allow for a decent amount of clearance above the buildplate. I did this in PLA, and have not experienced any issues since this area is a relatively low temperature, but I would definitely recommen
