This is a stand for the moon lamp to insert a USB led bulb. You can easily find those on ebay or something else, search "USB LED bulb magnet"

insert the bulb, put the cable in the slot, and "voilà"

works for a 5 inches moon, but also a 9 inches (I did it with Jupiter)
