I've struggled with correct form during the deadlift. After a little research I discovered that my 45lb weight plates are 50mm less diameter than a standard regulation plate. This lowers the bar 25mm and increases the difficulty in proper form at the start of the movement. I designed these blocks to lift the plates 25 mm, bringing the par tot he proper height. However deadlift is an exercise that puts certain body types at a mechanical disadvantage, so there is no reason not to raise it slightly
