Was a-26 during ww2, then b26 after the Marauder was retired only to become an A26 heavy attack aircraft again because Thailand wouldn't allow bombers to be based in their country during 'Nam.
This is based on the A-26A ( no national markings ) from 1966 and the 609th SOS "Nimrods" that shot up anything and everything on the Ho Chi Minh trail.until 1969 when AC-130's took over that job.
CIA also used these planes for stuff.
