Orion ED80T-CF Motorized Focuser

I created a motorized focuser for my Orion ED80T-CF refractor using a very inexpensive stepper motor. By loosening the two large knobs, the motor-gear assembly can be slid up enough to disengage the stepper motor and allow the focuser to be racked to approximately the correct position manually. Then, the gear can be slid back down to engage the large gear attached to the fine-focus knob allowing the motor to do the final focusing.

I am controlling mine motor using a Raspberry Pi3B and PiFace
