Phonics Phone

My 2nd grader described using something like this at school for reading in class. This way the kids can hear themselves without being extremely loud. They can listen to the tiny differences in certain letter sounds.

The knob on the side is meant to be an attachment point for a headband or something similar, to give the kid a hands free phonics phone.
