Nikon SBR200 flash ring for 70-180 macro lens

The Nikon R1 and R1C1 macro flash kits are not compatible with the Nikon 70-180 Micro lens (it says so right in the manual), because the flash mounting ring attaches to the front of the lens and on the 70-180 that part moves during focusing. I have the R1C1 and the 70-180 and wanted to use them together.

This part is an alternative ring to clip the SBR200 flashes onto which has an integral clamp sized and positioned for a Really Right Stuff MPR-1 rail bolted onto the 70-180 lens foot.
