At work the bathroom garbage can was constantly overflowing with used paper towels and tissue. Obviously nobody wanted to stick their hand in there to push it down so I printed a trach can compactor.
In addition to the 2 3d printed pieces you'll need a length of 7/8" wooden down rod. I cut mine to 32" but the length doesn't really matter. You'll also need a 1" long wood screw to attach the base to the dowel rod. When pressing the two pieces onto the dowel rod I also applied some E6000 adhesiv
