This is a prototype avionics bay bracket for 34mm model rockets. The PCB brackets are made to fit a 3x7cm prototype PCB.
See [this imgur post](https://imgur.com/gallery/svZwS1H) for details about the build process for the avionics hardware.
I designed this to develop a simple test platform for a flight computer that can fly on small 34mm model rockets. The computer is meant to operate in a passive mode only in order to collect data and validate flight systems. For this reason, no control systems or pyrotechnic channels are incorporated into this design.
This avionics bay is meant to fly in a sealed compartment just below the nosecone and should separate from the lower section of the vehicle along with the nosecone at the time of recovery system deployment. This system is not designed to be able to withstand an ejection charge on its own.
This design is a work in progress. Follow me to stay up to date on the latest changes, including an upcoming version 2.0 of the 34mm paylo
