Anet A8 Spool Bearing

The Anet A8 spool holder uses an 8mm threaded rod as an axle. Since most spools have a center hole that is 2 1/4" (57.15 mm) wide, this means that as the printer pulls on the filament, it has to drag the spool across the axle creating quite a lot of friction--frequently creating enough tension on the filament and enough torque on the extruder assemby to pull a layer out of alignment.

This thing is a simple, light-weight bearing that greatly reduces the tension in the filament.
