This is an adapter plate which allows for the Solidoodle 1, 2, and 3 printers to be converted to a J-head bowden style system.

I personally made this upgrade/mod to get rid of the faulty and terribly unreliable stock acrylic sheet hotend and save some weight on the carriage.

The plate and clip easily installs using the existing hardware from the old hotend. See the pictures for details. Essentially, all you need is the two long screws that held the extruder to the carriage and their nuts
