Noise Maker / Ratchet - Tongue Depressor

Inspired by a trip to the symphony and being introduced to the ratchet percussion musical instrument and noise maker often used by footballers to cheer for their team.

Laser Cut sides and thong from tongue depressor at 1.60mm thick. Optionally glue the thong in; though not required. Split thong gives a unique sound. Use either with 1 or two thongs installed.

Gears, handle, and cap cut from 4.50mm plywood. Gears can be offset or doubled-up, either should work.
