Generic Stand

I set up a camera a while ago to keep an eye on my printer but I didn't have a good stand for it. The best thing I came up with was taping it to a yogurt container and putting a couple of D batteries in the container to keep it steady. The tape is starting to let go so I thought that it would be a good opportunity to see if I could design a generic stand that would work for quite a few things.
