This is the housing for a much larger project, I am using 4 ESP32-Camera modules, having the flash triggered by an RCWL-0516 Motion Detection Sensor coupled with an LDR light sensor each, to make the flash work when it is dark. It can also use an HC-SR501 PIR Sensor instead, with the same LDR light sensor. These sensors are pulling power from the ESP32, and triggering on pin 13.
The 4 sets are housed and mounted within the housing so that they point in different directions. Each of these will connect to an old NetgearN600 Wireless Dual Band Router WNDR3400v3 and so will a Raspberry Pi running Motion Eye OS, to track the video streams, and record motion on the RPI from each stream.
This will all be powered from a 50W solar panel, connected to a dual battery bank, all ruggedized, and prepared for field use.
In total, this will allow for the system to be placed on a trail, with self-sustaining power and monitoring, to record and monitor activity along that trail, for hunting, security
