F8F Bearcat for microarmor

Light weight interceptor that was basically just a big engine with a man strapped on. Pilot accounts say it was very stable, but with a wicked stall.

A modifed version, 'Rare Bear' held the world speed record for a piston powered plane, from 1989 until 2017, with a top speed of 528.31mph.
