This bracket allows the LCD to be mounted to the extrusion. I have my printer in a tight space in a cabinet and have to rotate the printer 90 degrees so that the side of the printer faces me when I use it. I used this bracket to place the screen on the right hand side of the printer (putting it on the left side is problematic for accessing the SD slot).
