Under the capacitive sensors in the Valve Index controller is a pressure pad. Using a 3D printed 'paddle' made to form, you can simulate the grip action in game through squeezing the paddle on the controller's pressure pad. By squeezing the paddle, you hold on to the object in game, as if you were squeezing the controller without the paddle in place.
