The Picatinny Rail can be used for the MantisX trainings device.
The base pad has been designed for a Walther PPQ M2 9mm-Luger magazine with 17 rounds. It will not (!) work for 15-rounds magazines.
If you have a .40 caliber gun you could try the base pad. As far as I know are the magazine dimensions the same.
