This is the design I created to convert an original hoverboard (6.5 inch 350W wheels) into a DIY Onewheel for about $200.

Other supplies needed to complete the wheel/rim assembly are a go-kart tire for a 6 inch rim (see link), valve stem extension, and longer hardware (~1.25 inches long).
