I modified the lid to support a blower fan that I already had. I closed the holes on the top and end. The idea is to pull the air in through the header opening and across the cpu/mem chips and up and out the opposite side.
I do think that directly blowing on the chips is more efficient but that is difficult to do with this style of fan.
At 100% CPU it runs in the low to mid 60C.
Short term I'm going to glue the fan in with a dab of silicone rubber I may go back and add screw holes.
