This is a handle that can be used to shorten a leash for walk-training a dog to help increase control and avoid buying a whole bunch of different length leashes. When dogs are young, they need a very short leash to learn to stay close by and not pull. I was shortening my dog's leash with knots and holding the rope tightly.
