I showed pictures of my press forming 1/4" thick steel to 90 degrees using a 12 ton press. It takes about all the 12 ton press can deliver to form this part. If you want to take it to 90 degrees you have to use 1/8" extruded aluminum pieces on the edges to take it over 90 degrees so it springs back to 90 degrees. If you take your time, you can easily get the finished part to within a degree or less.
When I finished fabricating this press brake I had both part
