A contour gauge for copying a surface, or just to play with.

Print one "block" and three "pin-print" and assemble. I print this with a 0,3mm nozzle. If you are using a bigger nozzle check that the slicer keeps all the tiny parts.

OK, so my printer makes a "fat" first layer and cleaning that up in 225 holes is a PITA. So I added som chamfering to the bottom.

And the friction of each pin has to be really low. Even 1N of friction means 22kg is needed to push all the pins. So I added some more clearance to the spring-fingers. If the parts are printed in PLA there might be some stick-slip effect but rubbing each pin lightly on a normal bar of soap (dry) makes them slide smoothly.

This is still an untested prototype. Second version being printed right now. Anyone downloading the files before jan-12 should download again.
