On the down side is more fragile and harder to assemble as you probably imagine … Printing:Print it out of a sturdy material like PLA plus, don't use matte PLA , is too soft. Print the pins out of PETG for elasticity and resilience.Be careful with the “flowers” , don't use high speed on a bed slinger , they could easily topple because the center of gravity is very high and the base narrow. A brim will help and is easy to remove on this geometry. Assembly:The pins are not symetrical , the red rectangle shows the part that goes in the “flowers”, the blue rectangle the part that goes in the core.Prepare the pins by pressing them with some pliers like you see in the picture bellow.
