The Hilbert curve and its variations are continuous fractal curves that can infinitely fill two- and three-dimensional space.

3D Hilbert curves are typically difficult to print with standard FDM printing due to the amount and location of supports needed.

This construction kit uses minimal supports and if you print enough of them, you could, theoretically, tile 3D space to infinity!

The primary “first iteration” element of the 3D Hilbert curve requires eight curved pieces and connectors. By mirroring, rotating, and connecting eight primary elements, you create a “second iteration” of the 3D Hilbert curve. Refer to pictures above found at https://slideplayer.com/slide/8230588/.

Join eight “second iterations” and you create a “third iteration” curve. Continue until you reach infinity.

Once you are done, you can replace the curved ends with straight end caps.
