Testing different filaments for their properties. Ranging from flexible to very stiff.
Test speciment: (l x h x w) 180mm x 15mm x 4mm with
* rounded cut-outs at the center to leave 10mm x 4mm
* a hole for a hook 80mm from the cut-outs
* one side is fully supported up to the cut-outs, the other side receives a force at the mounting hole in the direction of the 15mm height.
Printed with 2 perimeters, 30% infill, nozzle 0.4mm
When gently knocked on the table the pieces give different sounds, SAN and PLA have the highest pitch, The following table has the materials sorted from highest pitch to lowest:
