3d Printable Ghost Gun

3dprinted ghost guns have been big news lately, so I decided to make one too.

This is a conceptual piece made in response to the fear mongering going on in regard to 3d printers having the potential to produce dangerous items. While there is some validity to the fact that some weapon parts can be 3d printed, the same parts could be produced out of other materials at home by people with a small amount of skill and everyday tools. Many of the most vital functional parts would need to be purchased from actual manufacturers. The push to regulate/ban 3d printers due to them presenting a danger to society is ridiculous, and would just take away a really useful and neat tool many of us have come to rely on to solve everyday problems, as a good tool can do. It is an empty argument pushed by news media because fear gets views. It's perpetuated by people who don't fully understand how the tech works or what it really does.
