Our idea starts from a simple part of childhood: a paper airplane. We throw it and watch it glide, modifying it to resemble jet planes. Sometimes, we even compete with our friends to see whose plane can travel the farthest.
This 3D-printable gliding plane is an advanced version of that concept, with a length of 35 cm and a wingspan of around 37–38 cm. The wings are tilted at 5 degrees to improve glide stability and increase distance. All parts are designed to be compatible even with a Bambu A1 Mini printer, making it family-friendly, beginner friendly and cost-effective.
The build requires approximately 70–80 grams of filament. In Bambu Studio, please set the sparse infill to 1% to minimize weight.
