This clip firmly attaches a smartphone to an Xbox One controller (Bluetooth version) with a single, snap-on part.
Should natively work with a variety of smartphone sizes.
How to use:
First clip the bracket to the controller, then clip the top part to the phone, like in the pictures.
Don't worry if the phone clip looks too narrow, this is on purpose, the shape is very elastic, widen it until your phone fits, even if it deforms it should still grip the phone firmly (might not work if your PLA is too brittle).
Advantages over similar designs:
- phone above the controller (not on top of it) for better balance and ergonomics while still giving enough room for your fingers
- snap-on fit
- single part
- designed to be extremely easy to print, no supports, no post processing, no assembly
Disadvantages:
- can't adjust the phone's position or tilt
My Print Settings:
- PLA
- three outer shells (perimeters)
- 30% rectilinear infill
The archive contains Inventor 2018 file
