This 3D Printed CNC is a great starter CNC because its relatively inexpensive compared to similar machines of its size. Don't be expecting to machine some of the harder metals such as steel on it, however for milling wood, plastics and aluminium this machine is perfect. £200 is a rough estimate on how much it cost to make and for a machine that is 500x500 that's not bad at all. The design is easily scalable but I wouldn't go any bigger than 600x600 for the sake of rigidity.
