3d Printed Colt Express Trains

3d printed trains for the colt express board game. These replace the crappy cardboard trains that come with the game and still fit into the original box. I also included the Fusion 360 files for anyone that wants to remix the design.

I printed with supports only touching the build plate and bridged the roofs of the passenger cars. The trains are connected using 6mmx2mm magnets similar to these:

To finish the wood PLA prints I sanded them with coarse sandpaper and used Rosemary Minwax gel stain. I found it pretty difficult to get into all the corners with the gel stain on these prints.
