This is a little 3D padlock I created.
Most parts are 3D printed, but you will also need some additional metal parts.
It is actually working very nice :).
Some parts are not that easy to print, like the little ball bearings.
Scale one ball a bit bigger, so that you have one in 5mm and one in 5.5mm, the bigger one goes to the shackle side.
The key is uncut, you can use a file or a keycutter to modify it for your pinning.
Additional parts which are needed:
- 5 keypins
- 5 drivers
- 1 long standard driver as a core holding pin
- 6 padlock springs
- 6 M4x3 grub screws
- 1 pen spring for the shackle
I add a picture where you can get an overview of all the parts.
Have fun making your own 3D padlock :D.
