Today, we’re building a 3D-printed pneumatic press, and I’ll show you how strong it is. Stick around until the end to see how even 3D printing can create powerful tools. I’ve shared the material list and a download link for you to build your own in the description.
This press uses a 63mm bore cylinder with a 350kg pushing capacity, aiming to exceed 1 ton. Make sure to subscribe and follow me on Instagram and TikTok for more content!
I started by modeling the parts to avoid errors, then printed them with a 3D printer. If you don’t have a 3D printer, you can order the parts from my sponsor, PCBWay, who also offers custom 3D printing and CNC machining.
After printing, I assembled the press using standard parts like M8 screws, pneumatic fittings, and a 3D-printed bracket. For stability, I used an ABS block for the base and aluminum profiles for the frame. The pneumatic system is controlled by a distributor handle with silencers.
The assembly was straightforward, and the system is pow
