This is a design for 3D printable Punctal plugs that can be used as a viable treatment option for Dry Eye Disease (Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca) and various other diseases for which punctal occlusion could be helpful.These plugs have been designed in such a way that they can be easily put into the punctum of the eye and also have a hollow cylindrical part that can be used for storing a drug and used for drug delivery.
Notice: this is just a prototype of the punctal plug and as it is made up of resin which is not biocompatible, it is not for in-vivo use in patients.
